Rockbridge County Schools are looking for a new superintendent and are seeking input regarding superintendent qualifications. Whether you have school age children or not, you need to let them know what you value. Here is the information from the website, and the link to the survey:
The Rockbridge County School Board announced on Tuesday, January 17th that it will begin the process of hiring a new superintendent by seeking public input on qualifications.
The school board has created a survey related to superintendent criteria, which is available at:
Hard copies of the survey will also be available at the school board administration offices and at each school. The survey deadline is January 27, 2017.
In addition to the survey, the board will hold a public hearing:

“Hiring a new superintendent is the biggest task a school board will face and we want to make sure that the public has a voice in this process,” said School Board Chairman David McDaniel, “We hope that parents, staff and residents will take time to fill out the survey or attend the public hearing.”
The school board selected the Virginia School Boards Association (VSBA) to assist the board with the superintendent search.
