There is an effort afoot that was started by Diana Chapman Walsh, former President of Wellesley, to send by today’s (tomorrow’s would probably be fine as well) mail a very simple hand-written message to now-President Trump regarding the preservation of the Affordable Care Act. The suggestion is to write no more than three lines, using the same text, or modified, as what follows. By all accounts, written letters to the President must be opened, read and tallied. This effort is to create a mountain of mail and create a visually undeniable citizens’ demand.
President Donald J Trump
1600 Pennsylvania Ave
Washington, D.C. 20500
“Don’t make America sick again. Improve Obamacare. Don’t repeal it.”
According to the promoters of this effort, our sending these letters should amount to 53 million pieces of mail, and $20 million of postage stamps sold.
Please try to do this and send the rallying call onto others that you know…
